 TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR LOCALSHARE: FILESHARE ANYDEVICE

By downloading, installing, or using the LocalShare: FileShare AnyDevice application ("the App") developed by 2A Software Developers ("us", "we", or "our"), you ("User" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. LICENSE GRANT

1.1 We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial file-sharing purposes.

2. USER RESPONSIBILITIES

2.1 Permitted Use:

Share files only between devices you own or have permission to access.

Use the App in compliance with all U.S. federal and state laws.

2.2 Prohibited Use: You agree not to:

Share illegal, copyrighted, or malicious content (e.g., under DMCA, CFAA, or other U.S. laws).

Reverse-engineer or modify the App.

Use the App for commercial purposes without written permission.

Violate others’ privacy, intellectual property, or data protection rights.

2.3 Data Responsibility:

We do not store or monitor your files.

You are solely responsible for the files you transfer.

3. DISCLAIMERS

3.1 No Warranty:

The App is provided "as is" without guarantees of functionality or security.

We disclaim all warranties under U.S. law, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

3.2 No Liability for Third-Party Actions:

Files are transferred directly between devices (peer-to-peer).

We are not responsible for misuse by recipients or failed transfers.

4. LIABILITY LIMITATION

4.1 2A Software Developers is not liable for:

Files shared without permission.

Device compatibility issues.

Any damages (direct, indirect, or consequential) arising from App use.

Violations of U.S. laws by users.

4.2 Limitation: 

Our total liability is limited to $10 USD (or the amount paid for the App, if any).

5. TERMINATION

We reserve the right to

Suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms.

Discontinue the App without prior notice.

6. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES

These Terms are governed by California law (or your state if required by law).

Any disputes shall be resolved in state or federal courts in California.

Class Action Waiver: You waive any right to participate in class actions.

7. CHANGES TO TERMS

Updates will be posted in the App.

Continued use = acceptance of new Terms.
